AP Physics C - Mechanics and Electricity & Magnetism Summer Work

May 31, 2011

Hi!

AP Physics Summer work 2011-12. Please read this whole sheet and print it out for you reference.

Please send me an email address that I may use to contact you over the summer if it something other than your Ignatius email.

Here is the whole set of questions in one PDF file hewitt1to35. Download this file ASAP. It will be removed the second week of June.

There are six Scantrons and a total of 1000 or so questions, which is a lot less than the 1836 the guys had to do in previous years. If you find any errors, let me know by sending a note along with the Scantron.

Here is a mailing schedule you need to follow to get the assignment done on time. If you do not mail a Scantron on time, email me the reason. If you get behind, catch up, but do not rush through the questions. Think about them. When transferring answers to the Scantrons, be very careful to make the dots neat and dark. Also, Scantrons are numbered 1 to 6 in red above the name lines. Make sure you put your name on each Scantron. Also, email me your preferred email address for over the summer NOW.

CLICK HERE FOR MISSING PICTURE ON THE QUESTION SHEETS

Also, in set 2 numbers 28-70 are missing. Just skip those on the Scantron.

Scantron 1 - mail on or before June 11
Scantron 2 - mail on or before June 25
Scantron 3 - mail on or before July 9
Scantron 4 - mail on or before July 23
Scantron 5 - mail on or before August 6
Scantron 6 - mail on or before August 20 or bring to first day of class in August

Fold them neatly in thirds and send them to me in a regular long business envelope. Do not send them in a huge 9 x 12 envelope. One stamp will be sufficient for up to about 3 sheets. Send to:

** Make sure you put your name on each Scantron. **

If you have any trouble or some problem comes up, let me know by email or phone. bward@ignatius.edu or 216-780-1992. Stay in touch. If you fall behind, just let me know the reason. Silence is NOT a good idea. If I don't hear from you for long periods of time, I will start sending emails and calling you to see what is going on.

These questions should be answered on your own. Do NOT check your answers against anyone else's. You may discuss a few individual questions with others or with me, but this should be kept to a minimum.

To get maximum benefit out of the summer work, read the whole chapter first, then answer the questions. Do not read the questions first and go hunting for the answer without reading the whole chapter.

See you in the fall,
Coach Ward
